We have a lot of great things planned for the upcoming Milwaukee Beer Week, September 14-20.  One of them is a Sprecher Beer Dinner at Triskele’s Restaurant in Walker’s Point.  Opened in 2007, Triskele’s is known for great food served with friendliness in an intimate atmosphere.  The Sprecher Ber dinner will take place September 16th at 6pm.  Five course for only $35, and the menu is both creative and impressive:

Appetizer -     Crabcake w/Grilled Sweet Corn Aioli & Fresh Basil Chiffonade – paired w/Special Amber

Soup -           Curry Cauliflower w/Fried Brussel Sprout Leaves – paired w/Extra Pale Ale

Salad -           Field Greens w/Sweet Green Apple Vinaigrette, Blue Cheese & Spiced Pecans – paired w/Shakparo

Main Course -  Coq a la Biere – Chicken Braised in Pipers Scotch Ale w/Chorizo Bread Pudding, Haricot Verts & Pickled Carrots – paired w/Pipers Scotch Ale

Dessert -        Cream Soda Creme Brulee w/Cherry Cola Chocolate Truffle & Fresh Mint – paired w/Black Bavarian

Chef JoLinda Klopp’s  Bio

Having been tantalized by the food she was serving after 10 years of “front of house” experience, Chef JoLinda Klopp decided to turn to the kitchen and prepare it herself.  Starting in 1998, JoLinda worked as a line cook for 2 years at Hotel Metro, which led her to a Sous Chef position at Bartolotta Catering.  In 2003 an Executive Chef position brought her to River Lane Inn; a top seafood restaurant in Milwaukee.  In Oct. ’07, she opened her own restaurant called “Triskele’s”, which has since been recognized as one of the “Top New Restaurants” of 2008 by Milwaukee Magazine.
